Blog: TEXAS

I’m back from TEXAS.

Everything is so big. Corporate America at its finest—nothing to do but drive around, shop, and dine. Kept me wondering where the life was.

I haven’t updated this because I’m too busy overthinking everything and wallowing in my self-doubt. Life after Brazil is tough. The only thing getting me through this transition is my daily prayers; asking God everyday for endurance, encouragement, and understanding. That Fulbright freedom was too sweet, and I had so much confidence compared to now. Now I feel like I’m at ground zero with my company, I’m worried about the wrong damn things, and I’d be a complete mess if God wasn’t my everything.

NUNU FILMS is moving to Atlanta this summer. (Idk how. Idk when). Next time I’m making that trip it’s gonna be a one way. From there, I’m working out of everywhere: Salvador, Rio, São Paulo, NYC, Chicago, LA, Toronto. Booked and busy and pushing the culture one doc at a time.

The imposter syndrome is so old already.

More Aruanda updates soon.

I post blogs like this every week.
